The certificate of celibacy is a document intended to prove the marital status (single) of its holder.
It is issued for administrative purposes by the consular services depending on the applicant's place of residence.

  • Consular registration;
  • National identity card + a photocopy;
  • Full copy of the birth certificate.
  • If the consular services fail to determine the family situation of the person concerned, the applicant is required to submit handwritten legalised statement attesting his family situation;
  • Legalised declaration of two Moroccan witnesses, registered at the Consulate.
