Certificate of Celibacy

Introduction
The certificate of celibacy is a document intended to prove the marital status (single) of its holder.
It is issued for administrative purposes by the consular services depending on the applicant's place of residence.

Documents required
- Consular registration;
- National identity card + a photocopy;
- Full copy of the birth certificate.
- If the consular services fail to determine the family situation of the person concerned, the applicant is required to submit handwritten legalised statement attesting his family situation;
- Legalised declaration of two Moroccan witnesses, registered at the Consulate.
