Introduction
Divorce is carried out by the courts of the host country or by the competent Moroccan courts.
Any divorce pronounced by a foreign court, which contains provisions having a financial incidence or contrary to the public order, must be recognised by a Moroccan court, following the procedure of "exequatur".
The divorce pronounced by a Moroccan court is recognised by the host country in accordance with the laws and conventions in force in the country concerned.
