Act of mutual consent for divorce
Introduction
The spouses may agree to the principle of ending their conjugal union, either unconditionally or with conditions compatible with the provisions of the Family Code that are not prejudicial to the interests of the children.
In the event of agreement, the request for authorization of divorce is submitted to the court by the couple or one of them, accompanied by the act of mutual consent established by the consular services.
Documents required
- Consular registration of one or both spouses
- CNIE or passport of the spouses;
- Marriage certificate (original).
N.B. : This act may be established under private seal.
